Mamta Kulkarni, born on 20th April 1972 at Mumbai is an Indian actress and model.
Mamta Kulkarni made her debut in Hindi films in the year 1993, in a film Tirangaa and has acted in hit films like Karan Arjun, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Kraantiveer, Aashiq Awara, Baazi.
Mamta Kulkarni’s other films like Censor, Jeevan Yudh, Andolan ,Waqt Hamara Hai failed at the box office.
Mamta Kulkarni won the Lux New Face  Filmfare Award in the year 1993.
Mamta Kulkarni has acted in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali films.
Mamta Kulkarni was a very controversial and bold actress and was involved in a big fight with director Raj Kumar Santoshi during the making of the film China Gate, and the film was a flop at the box office. She also posed topless for a magazine Stardust and an obscenity case was filed against her.
Mamta retired from acting in the year 2002, and her last film was Divine Temple Khajuraho.

Her natural beauty and outspokenness sparked jealousies and fears amongst other leading ladies, thus leading to considerable diatribe between herself and other actresses, Urmila Matondkar in particular.
It cannot be denied that Mamta is breathtakingly beautiful, and deserves a second chance in movies. Although she has re-located in the U.S., she continues to have many fans, who wish her well, and hope she makes a comeback someday.
