Katrina Kaif, the gorgeous Indian Actress was born on 16 July 1983 in Hong-Kong. Her Father Mohammed Kaif is of Indian Kashmiri origin and Mother Susanna Turcotte is of English origin. When she came to India, she changed her surname to that of her father's, Kaif, because it was Indian in origin. Katrina has seven sibblings.
She pursued her engineering studies in London at the age of 17, but she was not interested in that field. She always wanted to be in the modeling and the glamour industry. She has definitley worked hard to reach to the position where she is today. In her short career in the hindi film industry, she has already worked with some of the biggest banners and filmmakers in the industry. Although controversy has occasionally encircled her. The year 2012 has been lucky for her as she got the chance to work with the Three Khans in the same year. She started her career as a model with photographer Atul Kasbekar, she received advertisements from LG, Cola, Fevicol, Lakme, & Veet but she was noticed with the Lakme commercial. She got her first break from the movie Boom (2003) and was discovered by the London based filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who gave her the role in his film Boom (2003). She got recognized in 2005 with the film Sarkar, where she played the role of Abhishek Bachchan's girlfriend, and she was paired opposite Salman Khan in the movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005).
